Important information

The travel

• Sahara-Art-Venture will take care of your flighttickets to Tamanrasset or Djanet, Algeria.
• Etickets will be sent 2-3 weeks before your traveldate.

Travel visa

• Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 moths after returning from Algeria.
• A personal invitation is needed from Algeria, Sahara-Art-Venture takes care of this invitation and sends it to the Algerian embassy in your country.
• Then you can order your travel visa.
• Send your visa order (pdf) by recorded delivery to a visum agency in your country.
• You will get the visa and your passport back by recorded delivery. Please contact Sahara-Art-Venture if you have any questions about the procedure.

Clothing and shoes

• Warm clothing for at night and good fitting shoes with a strong, solid sole.

Money and tips

• There are no cash ditributers in Djanet en Tamanrasset.

Maybe its a good idea to give our local guides an amount of 10 euro in an enveloppe (in consultation with the travel responsable).
